1. Appliqué: Construction technique must be predominantly appliqué.
  2. Pieced: Construction technique must be predominantly pieced.
  3. Fabric Art: A design with any technique or combination of techniques or materials in a non traditional way. Entry in this category must be a quilt. For the purpose of this quilt show, a quilt is defined as a sandwich composed of three layers: front and backing layers that are primarily fabric and a filling layer held together by threads. The integration of non-fabric items is acceptable.
  4. Wall: Any quilt that meets the size requirement listed in that category.
  5. Mixed Technique: Any quilt with more than one technique such as piecing, appliqué, embroidery, trapunto, etc. Crazy Quilts should be included in this category.
  6. Miniature: Any quilt which has no side measuring more than 30”: using any technique.
  7. Construction: Any technique is acceptable including appliqué, reverse appliqué, piecing, dying, embellishments, embroidery, and painting. Any combination of these techniques can be used.
  8. Quilting: Any quilting technique is acceptable. This includes hand quilting, machine quilting, or any combination of the two. Be sure you give credit to the quilter if it is someone other than yourself. Tying is not acceptable for entries.
